Sugar Space is Bigger and Better!

In a time where most people are downsizing and shifting gears to maneuver in a slower economy, we have a different story to tell.

Sugar Space is fulfilling a profound need of local, burgeoning artists, by providing an affordable and accessible venue.  In the past month we have had plays including Pinnacle Acting Company’s, “Three Days of Rain” and Utah Theater Artists Company’s “The Turn of the Screw” and we are getting ready for Ozone Publishing’s “The Long Arm of The Law”.  Monica Campbell and Evan Ritter, our Fall Artists in Residence,  created a dance concert that sold out 3 performances, including a matinee.

We are so excited to be expanding the space to almost double what it was before!  We are doubling our performance space for sure, and increasing our audience capacity from just 60 people to over 100.  There is even enough space that we were able to create 1 small private studio (complete with track lighting), ideal for small yoga classes.

We are still doing painting and flooring but we are making great progress.  Come check us out!
